City and Colour, the birth child of Canada’s Dallas Green, has revealed he is on his way to the land down under in April 2020 for an extensive headline tour.
The singer-songwriter is currently in the country for an exclusive performance at Brisbane Festival on Saturday 28th September, where it seems his affections for Australia have been reignited.
“Been here a day and I’m already planning my flight back. And Alex Lahey is coming along too! See you in April!”

The return in 2020 will mark Green’s 18th time in the country which includes past performances at Splendour In The Grass and Byron Bay’s annual Bluesfest. Green has seen huge success in Australia with a multitude of sell out shows to his name as well as securing ARIA nominations.
The upcoming tour will see performances in Adelaide, Fremantle, Sydney, Melbourne and Hobart with tickets set to go on sale at 12pm Friday 4th October.
Brisbane seems to be one of the country’s major cities to have missed out on the tour schedule. Perhaps it’s because of this month’s performance or is it too early to start speculating he will join the already stellar line-up at next year’s Bluesfest?
Either way, Brisbane fans you may want to start looking at flights to be safe.
The release of the tickets coincides with the release of his sixth studio album A Pill for Loneliness which promises to be a deep dive into a dreamy landscape and vulnerability.
If this wasn’t exciting enough, he’s also got Alex Lahey joining him as support.
City and Colour is returning to Australia in April 2020, armed with brand new music alongside all the fan favourites.
